Q: How long does the rental last for?
A: We are generally very flexible with the time you'd like the rental, ranging from 8AM dropoff to 8PM pickup. This varies depending on distance from our warehouse and other dropoffs/pickups that we have scheduled. Overnight charge ranges from $50 to $300 depending on the size.
Q: Do I need any special equipment?
A: We bring necessary equipment for setup (extras such as tarps, blowers, extension cords, and stakes upon request). However, IF THE LOCATION DOES NOT HAVE ACCESSIBLE OUTLETS, you may request a generator for an additional $100.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A.: As of June 2022, we require a reservation deposit fee that varies based on your order. Our clients actually requested that we start taking them so their bookings are more secure and officially reserved. Please reach out to 510.871.0513 for more info.
Q: What is the cancellation and refund policy?
A: We require that you cancel your reservation at least 2 days before the scheduled dropoff in order to receive a return of your reservation deposit. Last minute or cancellations the day before will not, due to the timing disrupting the schedule. If there is damage or issues with our equipment, IMMEDIATELY call or text us within 60 to 90 minutes after the dropoff time in order to be eligible for a 75 - 100% refund. All other instances will be final.
Q: Where do you deliver? Is there a delivery fee?
A: We deliver all around the Bay, preferably within a 27 mile radius from San Leandro. Some common locations are San Francisco, Alameda, and Fremont. Delivery fees will vary based on mileage, but select local locations are eligible for a delivery fee waiver if they leave us a Yelp review!
Q: What is the occupancy limit for the jumpers?
A: Our standard size jumper can typically accommodate up to 12 young children. We suggest no more than 6 teens or adults in the unit at one time. There should be an adult supervisor at all times. Children under 4 years old or 3 feet tall should not jump with older children and require constant supervision.
Q: What type of surface can the inflatable jumper be placed on?
A: The safest surface is a level grassy area. However, the jumper can be installed on any flat area such as concrete, asphalt, turf or bark. Please specify when ordering which surface we will be setting up on and we will make sure we utilize the proper anchors/or safety pads when needed for your event.
Q: What if it is rainy or windy?
A: Bay to Bay Jumpers reserves the right to cancel a reservation if heavy rains, thunderstorms, or high winds (over 25 mph) is imminent, up to the time of delivery. There is no penalty to the renter. If it has been forecasted that it may rain, you have the option to cancel the night prior to the event. Should you decide to proceed with your order in such weather conditions, once the unit is delivered, we do not accept refunds.
Q: Can I have a jumper at a park?
A: Yes, inflatable jumpers are great for parks but you will need to check with the individual park to make sure they allow inflatable equipment. You are responsible for any permits or fees that are needed. Also, some parks will ask that the city be named as additionally insured on our policy. Due to the high cost of doing so, we are not able to provide services to those parks. Our services would work best for home and driveway deliveries.
Q: Does Bay to Bay Jumpers have insurance?
A: Yes, we carry comprehensive liability insurance. NOTE: All individuals and companies that rent an inflatable jumper are required to sign a rental agreement contract that includes a liability waiver prior to set up, contact us for a copy for review. We CANNOT set up a jumper until the liability waiver is signed.
Q: Are inflatable jumpers safe?
A: Yes. All of our commercial jumpers are constructed to be as safe as possible with high quality materials and various safety features. As with any activity involving small children, an adult should supervise the activity. This will help to insure that the few simple rules continue to be followed and that someone is always there to assist children entering and exiting the jumpers. All of our inflatable jumpers are covered for weather protection and they have netting on all four sides to allow for great visibility and air circulation.
Q: Do you deliver and set up?
A: Absolutely! Bay to Bay Jumpers will deliver and set up each jumper and ensure that it is clean and in good condition well before your party starts. Set up and take down normally takes about 15 to 30 minutes. You decide on the specific rental time and we'll be there up to 2 hours before that for set up. We pick up the unit after the party is over, but please allow up to 3 hours for pick up. If an exact time is needed, please let us know and we will work with you. This service is included in your rental cost.
